Surrealist Digital Portrait (Fruit/Vegetables)

This may be a bit hard to explain, but this is one of Frida Kahlo's paintings... but i added fruit to the face...
To me, it looks okay.. but why fruit?
But, why not?
I have lost motivation writing these things, so just prepare for out-of-ideas explanations.
